Nice quiet campground in a good location. Very large, long sites. Plenty of sites good for satellite. Convenient to historic features and shopping. Pleasant folks in the office. We also used it as a base to visit Kansas City, especially BBQ restaurants. We would return.

About the best thing I can say about this small crowded park was that it had excellent water pressure. Very urban setting, but located down a hill off the street, so the noise was not too bad. Convenient to all historic sightseeing, shopping and restaurants. Nice folks in the office. Had trouble with our satellite but they have Wi-Fi, not free, but cheap.

This is one of the nicest public parks we have stayed at. Spacious, open sites good for satellite. Pretty landscaping at each site although flowers no longer blooming, nice foliage. Great view of Scott's Bluff, and close proximity to Scott's Bluff National Monument and convenient to services in town. Friendly and accommodating camp host went out of her way to help us get a site we would be happy with. Would definitely return.

Dirt, open parking lot without amenities. The pull through sites are short. Has water and electric only. We would not return.

Pleasant quiet campground that was practically deserted when we were there as it was off season. Some sites open enough for satellite. Convenient to the Rowe Sanctuary, a major birding spot for Sandhill Cranes migrating in the spring. We would return.

An older park with gravel sites, fairly heavily treed, but we managed satellite reception. Campground has an on-site BBQ stand with excellent ribs. Friendly, helpful owners, even took propane for refilling. We would return.

A crowded, bare bones campground right behind a motel. Has narrow, short, pull through sites. Right in town for easy sight seeing, but really too expensive for the value received.

Best thing about this campground: location, location, location. Worst: tight sites. This is absolutely the best place to camp to see as much of Yellowstone as possible. It is located pretty much in the middle of the park, which saves you time and driving to the many venues. It's the only campground inside the park with full hookups, and we thought the price of $39 was a very good value. Water pressure was good and electricity stable. Sewer connection was a bit high off the ground but it was no big deal to us. The sites are very tight and backing into them is not for the faint of heart, but once we got in and settled, the closeness of other campers really didn't bother us. Yes: one of our slideouts was smooshed up against a tree, but we were able to deploy all our slideouts and were able to fit our truck in the space next to our trailer. This campground was built a long time ago, and we were happy to be able to fit our 36' fifth wheel here. In spite of the many tall pine trees ringing all the loops, we were able to get satellite reception. The Xanterra workers in the office were great and went out of their way to accommodate our needs. This is the only place we will stay to visit Yellowstone and would definitely come back.

Spacious gravel pull throughs without amenities in this laid back campground about a mile from town. Has very friendly, helpful owners. Passport America pricing made this a bargain. We would definitely return.

Heavily treed dry camping, pull through in Grand Teton NP. Very private sitting area with table and fire ring. Location is great for exploring the park. Right next door is a full service campground that would be much more desirable. We could not get satellite reception.

Small park with narrow roads. Owner escorts you to your site and assists in parking. Gets very busy on weekends with families and multiple vehicles making movement very difficult. Multi-generation family run park. Best stocked camp store I have seen, (food and groceries), which is good since there is no grocery store in town, only a convenience store which has only snacks. Not enough full hookup sites, only about 1/2 the campground. Dump station centrally located in the campground which made it harder to get to and traffic blocking.

Park is adjacent to a very busy highway. Too much traffic to sleep with the windows open. RR tracks on the other side. Tight roads, tight sites, very rundown park with trash and abandoned parts and vehicles all over. The owners are nice, but this place could use a lot of TLC. Stayed here because of the on-site hot spring pools. We did use them but thought they could be a little cleaner. Price way too high for the condition of the park. We would not return!

Rate reflects Passport America. Nice well kept, quiet park but the hilly terrain made for a very off-level site! Very large/long sites with plenty of grassy room between sites. It was wide open for satellite reception but also had a nice ambiance. Good location for exploring all the venues of the Black Hills; also close to Custer State Park. Easy trip into town for shopping. Pleasant owners. Half the campground is a horse camp, so be prepared for the accompanying smells and sounds, although it didn't bother us much. One night we were kept awake by constantly barking dogs, which the owners admit they heard too, but did nothing about. If not for the off-level site and barking dogs, this would have been a 9 rating.

Nice large open park. No problem for satellite. Large sites, long pull throughs with plenty of room for rig and tow vehicle or MH and toad. Well kept, but could have more gravel on the pads as it gets very muddy with rain. No activities or camp store, but we don't need those things. Best bathrooms I have ever seen, sparkling clean with heat lamps in the showers and nice shower curtains. Friendly, accommodating staff. Owners constantly working on upgrading the park: building privacy fences, new picnic tables and adding cabins. Convenient to shopping and town. Would definitely stay here again.

One of the nicest state parks we have stayed at. Easy back-in to our huge site with a backyard where the bison and big-horned sheep roamed. We had a paved pad with lots of grass around. No problem with satellite reception in the row our site was in. It was heavily treed down by the creek though. Very nice shower houses which were spotlessly cleaned daily. You could have eaten off the floor! A beautiful lodge located right next door with an excellent fine-dining restaurant. We would have liked to stay longer, but all sites were reserved for the weekend. Very comfortable and relaxing: we would definitely return.

A delightful little gem of a campground. Clean and well kept. A fair amount of open sites good for satellite access, but surrounded by wonderful tall pine trees. Mix of site sizes with many being too small for rigs over 35' and not all are full hook-ups. There is a small cafe with a limited menu, but good food, on site. Also a pond stocked with trout you can fish for without a license, paying by the inch for what you catch. The cafe will even cook it for you. Small heated pool which was kept very clean. Only down side is the location 6 miles out of the town of Deadwood, on a road with many steep grades and some curves.

Quiet little U.S. Forest Service campground. Heavily wooded, no hookups with very, very large sites. Our sideways pull-through was so big you could have parked two of us in it. Even the back-ins were very long and looked easy to get into. A nice break for us from commercial campgrounds, although it would be hard for us to stay long without internet. Absolutely no possibility of satellite reception with all the tall trees, and no Verizon cell service either. An inexpensive overnight, although the reservation fee ($9 reflected in price shown) was more than the nightly camping fee ($6) with our Golden Age Pass. We were surprised the campground was half empty on a Saturday night.

This place is a DUMP. Little more than a dirt and gravel parking lot with patches of dry brown grass and lots of tall trees. Very few sites can get satellite reception. Nearby train tracks with train noise. We were in the back row next to a construction/truck company with old abandoned trucks on the property. Park is almost full with long term contact workers in older run down rigs. Passport America rate and reliable full hookups with good water pressure. Good proximity to the Buffalo Museum (worth a visit) and visitor information center with friendly staff. OK for an overnight convenient to the highway. I would find another place to stay next time if in the area.

Nice neat clean park, friendly staff. We were just here for an overnight and didn't even unhitch. For you fishermen, they have ponds and a pile of pictures in the office of some nice catches.

There are heavily treed island with sites along the water. The sites are Grass with cement wheel strips. We are between 2 large trees. There was no satellite reception. Spotty Wifi costs $13.95 for 10 days and doesn't work most of the time. There is no sewer, but the park offers pump out service. Our bird feeders were mobbed all week, great for birding. If internet is important to you, avoid this place.

This place is actually like 2 campgrounds, an upper section and a lower section. We stayed in the upper section which is more open to have satellite reception and full hookups. It's a lot quieter than the lower section. The lower section is much prettier, heavily treed and next to the river, water/electric only, very busy on the weekends. Great place for the kids as it is very geared to families with mini-golf, volleyball and basketball courts, soccer field and playground. They also offer tubing. Very well kept. Friendly staff. Site fee very expensive on weekends. I would rate it higher if it weren't so expensive. We didn't need all they had to offer. We only came here because our other choices were booked up.

Excellent proximity to downtown St Louis, nicely landscaped and maintained campground, with large sites. Our site is WAY off level, others look fine. Beautiful view of the arch right across the river. Does NOT have Wi-Fi as advertised. We would return.

Friendliest campground in Louisiana, or maybe the whole US. Betty treats you like family. Daily group happy hours and frequent pot luck meals are a treat. Small and cozy, sites are tight, but the hospitality out weighs any shortcomings. Can't wait to return.

Friendly and family owned campground, every site backs up to a lake. Sites are large, half cement and half gravel. Our site had depressions and flooded during rain storms. Nice pool. Excellent restaurant and meat market run by family a few miles away. We would return.

While the trip through the train tunnel to Whittier was interesting, the town itself was a major disappointment.

End of street campground in quirky and charming little town of Hope. Right on Resurrection Creek with everyone fishing. Great ambiance and café/bar across street. Best halibut so far in Alaska. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Only lack of sewer hookup, or dump station, prevents this from getting a higher rating.

Very small gravel park with gracious hospitality. Nice views over meadow of Cook Inlet and mountains in the distance. Little town with services and Homer 15 miles away. Directions will take you to a bridge with 13'2" height restriction. If you're taller, you have to detour 7 miles south of town to Old Sterling Highway, and back track to other side of bridge.

Gravel campground with great ocean and mountain views. Helpful, friendly staff. We ended up staying 10 days even though we only came for 3 and had to move and dump once. Short walk to shopping area and boat harbor. Picnic table and fire pit at every site. Excellent laundry room. Very clean shower rooms are cleaned twice a day.

Pull through site on cement and asphalt in rather rough looking state park, narrow patchy roads. Not too much vegetation. They have loads of Geese and the poop made it very difficult to walk around. Campground fee does not include the entrance fee which is $6 a day or $60 for the year.

They were full so we spent the night in overflow. Toured the campground and it's lovely. Ended up leaving after one night because they were full for the weekend, but we would definitely come back. First class operation.

Very narrow pull through in old park off ocean in Nuevo Kino, Sonora, Mexico. Very windy, nothing to see or do. 70 miles from Hermosillo. Stayed 3 days and headed home. Toured all CG's in area and nothing suitable. Old Kino is very depressed with nothing to see or do.

Empty CG outside Alamos with grass field and sites around perimeter. Some constant road noise. Town is charming with lots to do. Bird feeders did not work too well

Very nice county park on Colorado River, just north of town. Park is all grass with sites clustered around utility poles servicing 4 RV's. Layout seems haphazard. Very friendly staff and residents. Hookups are electric and water only, but pumpouts are free 3 times a week. Very well kept grounds with good walking areas. Very good value for long term stays, only $250 a month, electric included.

Escapee park. Very nice, but laid out like a regular RV park. Very large gravel site, room to park truck alongside. Quiet and well maintained, but no personality.

Here for 2 days to check out Highway of Waterfalls. Not much of a campground, gravel pull through sites in a field by the side of the road. Owners are nice and helpful. pool is above ground. 16 miles to food shopping, come prepared.

Pleasant, comfortable CG, clean and well maintained. Friendly helpful staff. Lots of grass and trees, but still satellite accessable. would have rated higher, but our site was narrow and short. Had to park truck elsewhere. Convenient to quaint and historic Eureka.

Nice rustic, well treed CG, friendly staff. Grass site was a little small. Noise during day from barking dog and at 5:30 in the morning from idling diesel engine.

Beautiful park like setting of sites spread over 160 acres of wooded hilly campground. Very friendly, helpful staff. You have to be Escapee member to camp here. About 30 miles from south entrance to Yosemite NP. Shopping is approx. 10 miles. One of the nicest CG's we have been in.

Forest park way off the beaten path. Very narrow roads into it, and within. Difficult to maneuver our 36" fifth wheel. Couldn't get satellite reception, no services. Nice laid back weekend. About 20 miles to town.

Nice park about 7 miles east of Monterey, next to a race track. Very narrow roads within the park and 16% grade to get up there. Beautiful views of valley. Gravel fairly level sites. No SEWER.

We were reluctant to come here with the words "mobile home" in the name, but were pleasantly surprised. It's an older park with mostly permanent mobile homes, but some spaces for travelers like us (127 total, 38 available to travelers). Very neat and well maintained facility, with level cement sites. Well landscaped grounds, with nice pool. Quiet park near shopping and downtown. About an hour drive from Sequoia National Park. Would stay here again.

Grossly overrated. Sardine like unlevel dirt sites in a crowded huge campground with LOADS of children playing in the roads that are filled with cars and trucks because the sites are too small for parking. It wouldn't be a value at half the price.

Wonderful campground between Santa Barbara and Solvang. Large level cement sites in wooded setting with beautiful large lake and BIRDS everywhere. Full service, but only 30 amps. Many wineries in area.

Small quiet park with gravel sites, good roads.

We've just spent 2 weeks here and can't imagine staying anywhere else when in LA. We had a front row site with the rear picture window directly out to the ocean and the bike path not 50 feet away. Location is central to sight seeing throughout the LA area. Noise from the airport is regular but was not really disturbing to us. Weekends can get busy and noisy, but we didn't mind, it was just families having fun.

Nice new resort in the middle of the desert. Mountains all around, good roads and cement pads. Heated pool and 4 hot tubs. Tennis court and golf course. Quiet park for the 11 days we were there. Only food store is mediocre. They warn you about high water pressure when you check in, but ours was pathetically low.

Lovely remote Desert like park on a lake with mountains all around. Big fishing lake. 5 miles from wine country with many vineyards and tasting rooms. Good restaurants in area. Mostly pull throughs, some short. Has fire rings!

Dirt field off highway just north of Hermasillo. Stopped for night on way home. Park and utilities are new.

Site was a cement pad on street with car delivery service across street. Noisy at night. Convenient shuttle to Disneyland.

Very nice older park, mostly park models, paved roads with sand sites, level with patio. Very nice hot spring pools and spas. Well landscaped. Very friendly residents.

Nice visual park in city area near hwy. Hilly, twisty, narrow interior roads with very narrow difficult to get into sites. We went to 3 before fitting into one. Would be better for smaller RV's

Very neat, clean and orderly park. Sites for daily or short term are large pull throughs, easy to get into, separate from seasonals. Sites are gravel without a patio. Nice pool and spa. Plenty of planned activities available. Overall a very pleasant place.

Very nice Park like setting only minutes from San Diego. Excellent interior roads and campsites. Very neat and clean, friendly staff. Numerous lakes for fishnig and bird watching. Loads of birds. Couldn't be much nicer!

Friendly owners, great washer room. Sites very narrow. Walled area for cement picnic table and grill. Visually not very impressive, older long term trailers and mobile home park alongside. Great area for sight seeing, don't miss White Sands National Monument!

Really just a large gravel parking lot behind the owners home. Nice friendly people. We came here to go the the Bosque Apache National Wildlife Reserve and it's only 3 miles away. Train passes by occasionally.

Physical setting is gorgeous and sites are well spaced, level and each one comes with a shaded bench. Down side is park is very tightly controlled as to visitors, only 70 a day, and we were restricted from using the park 2 of the 3 days we were here. Also gates lock at 6:00 PM. Bottom line - beautiful setting if you want to just chill out

Very nice small campground near silver City. Gravel roads and sites. Very nicely landscaped to provide privacy. Friendly, helpful owners.

Right on highway, VERY noisy. Heavily treed, poor satellite access.

Right on the Mississippi river across from Memphis. Rough roads coming in, but has sites right on the river. Quite charming!

Pretty basic layout with sites close together and minimal trees. Visually unlike any state park we've ever been in, much more like a basic commercial cg. Post office is right in park so there is constant traffic throughout the day. We did see wild horses in cg one morning.

Spectacular scenery and ambiance. Great hiking trails and views of wildlife. Mesquite loop has best views and largest sites. Entry road is steep but no problem with our 36' fifth wheel trailer. Definitely worth a visit!

Decent campground in a not so nice area, Santa Rosa is a dying town. Friendly, helpful owners. Nice on site restaurant with good ribs. Wifi and good satellite access.

This is an old campground, not well maintained. Only reason for staying here was proximity to satellite repair people. Lots of seasonals; some look like they've been here forever. Free WiFi but reception in our area not strong. (We needed it until our satellite fixed.) Only a few sites with southern sky exposure for satellite. Kind of kooky old owners, but they tried to be accommodating. They promote their facility as being close to New York City, and tours directly from campground are available. But if reason for coming is to see the City, we preferred Croton Point Park in Croton-on-Hudson with Metro North train station right outside park (where we stayed in August).

Very nice park. Owners are 3rd generation and take pride in their facility. Very family friendly, but still pleasant for adults without children like us. It's large, but grouped in separate loops with visual treed separation. The bigger loops consist of a large open field with hookups for big rigs in the center, but numerous sites around the perimeter each tucked into the trees that you back into. Very cozy. Only 15 sites have sewer hookups, but mobile service readily available. Owners and staff super friendly and accommodating. Very knowledgeable about the area. On check-in, without asking, gave us a map, told us all the must-see sites and marked them. Good location in this area. Would definitely stay here again.

Quiet and wooded. Typical KOA, well maintained, but pricey. Because it was mostly wooded it was difficult to get our satellite to connect. Staff tried to be accommodating. WiFi available but not free and signal was weak up in our site. A nice place to stay if satellite is not an issue. Kind of an out of the way location; not close to restaurants, grocery or attractions.

Friendly staff and nice views, but interior roads are rough and campground is quite noisy, sitting right on Hwy 2. We wouldn't return.

Campground just ok. Only 30 amp service and frequently tripped out even though we were careful in our usage. Rained while there and poor drainage caused some squishy and muddy conditions. Best feature 2 pools (one heated) and hot tub. Wanted to leave early to get our satellite fixed and they would not refund unused days. Would not return.

When we booked it they told us we could get satellite access, but we couldn't. They have wifi, but you have to be parked right near the office to get it. When we asked to move closer the next morning, they asked us to leave, since "we weren't happy since we arrived". Campgroung was very neat and clean.

Very wooded and picturesque. We were next to the play field with elec/water, but no sewer. Had shot for our satellite though. Then moved to a full hookup site in the woods, but couldn't get satellite, but had cable. Place was kept very clean and neat. Beautiful swimming hole on the Battenkill River.

Nice family campground with mix of open and shaded sites. Friendly owners keep the place neat and orderly. We had a good site backed into trees with satellite access. Only downside is it's no more than 1000' from I 91 and the traffic noise is constant.

Very nice park. Neat, very well kept. Very family active, yet seems quiet. Many sites remotely located. On 2 rivers with swimming and tubing. Some sites with satellite capability. Definitely a notch above the ordinary!

Campground looked nice and well kept, however our site W8 appeared to be new. Very bumpy and uneven, and not level. Rained when we were there and the site became a mud pit. Sites are also very narrow with large rocks at the entrances. Very difficult to enter and leave. We wouldn't go back.

Very neatly kept, very nice indoor and outdoor pool. Site in open field surrounded by trees. Seasonals were pretty neat. Fishing pond. Roads are very rough and need grading.

Camping loops are right off the ocean, not 500' from the surf. Although they have a limited number of electric sites, we had no services. Park is quite interesting with wild horses and deer wandering all over. Many families.

Campground was nothing special, but was immediately adjacent to the Gettysburg battlefield and 1/4 mile from town. They offered horseback tours of the battlefield and had a Diorama display of the battle. All in all, quite nice.

Well kept, interior roads quite narrow and hilly. Nice pool, loads of kids on weekend.

On the good side it's clean and flat. On the down side it's a cement parking lot, with no pretense of anything else. It's right in the city, so perfect for sightseeing of family visits, which is why we were there.
